| Description: |
This
vent is incorrectly orientated and is in the wrong location.
The cowl part of the vent sat on the aft side of the motor
housing not forward.
To
correct this.
-
Modify motor unit in preparation for gluing on the cowl
vent as described in the Motor
Unit section of the Vent Overview.
- Cut
of existing duct opposite motor unit and add a short
circular duct as described in the Duct
section of the Vent Overview.
-
-
Modify
the cowl vent as described in the Cowl
Vent section of the Vent Overview and glue onto
the motor unit facing aft.
- Locate
the vent further aft than the deck marking (i.e.. closer
towards the front of #2 funnel) so it sits behind the
aft edge of the roof line of the Grand Staircase.
- Glue
into position making sure that the motor faces starboard.
- Note:
Bob Read mentions that the starboard cowl vent was larger
than its Port counterpart as can be seen in H19 needs an extension
added and a wider opening.
- Note:
The part is listed correctly as G25 in the instructions
but the artist has drawn a G33
